about their endangered animal that will include at least one function.

3. Access reports from each student’s animal, enough for the whole
class
4. Spreadsheet question handouts
Procedures/Activities:

1. Instruct the students on how to create a spreadsheet and chart and
using Excel.
2. Distribute the endangered animal Access reports to the students. Each
student should have one Access report for each animal.
3. Students will enter the data from the following fields in the spreadsheet-name
of animal, the number of animals existing, average lifespan and the location.
4. Next, students will format the spreadsheets by changing the font style
and size, background, etc.
5. Students will complete the lesson by creating a chart. The chart is
to be named and labeled.
6. Divide the students into groups and have them work together to answer
the spreadsheet question handout.
7. Students will then share their answers with the class.
