My name is Jerelyn Hurley and I teach English as a second language for the Rockaway Borough School District in Northwestern Morris County. I am responsible for teaching all students in grades K-8 that are limited English proficient. As a graduate of Montclair State University and am certified to teach Health and Physical Education grades K-12, elementary education grades K-8, and English as a second language grades K-12. I also have a Masters in Educational Technology from NOVA Southeastern University. I have been teaching for 29 years in a variety of capacities and have been with the Rockaway Borough School District for the past ten years. The past six years I have been employed as the district's English as a second language teacher.
I think I have the best job in the world. I have lots of fun with my students going on field trips once a month, teaching thematically, and using technology with my students in the classroom and computer lab. We also participate in exciting online and collaborative projects every school year.
I am married and have two boys. I spend a lot of my free time working on my web site MrsHurleysESL.com and teaching/taking online classes. I invite you to visit my web site, sign my Guest Book and email me.
