Internet or online projects are an excellent way to integrate technology as well as the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing into the ESL curriculum. Online projects can be tied in with theme-based and content-based instruction. Other ways of integrating technology in the classroom include collaborative projects, use of email for penpals, chat programs for real-time communication, web page design, reinforcement of classroom material, and English practice games and activities.
